I first saw Brian and his music group Sol y Canto perform at a benefit concert. I was amazed at how versatile he was on the guitar and how adept he was at playing a variety of Latin styles and rhythms. I was also impressed with his songwriting and singing. Afterwards, I asked Brian if he would like to narrate a children’s audiobook for me and to compose and perform the background guitar music to the reading. He proved to be an excellent storyteller with a strong presence who was able to create a variety of voices for the different, sometimes very silly, characters in the book. The music that he created and performed was perfect as a backdrop to the story and at conveying its emotional content.

Brian is the ultimate professional. He meets his deadlines and is very conscientious about delivering the best possible performance. I have since worked on three such productions with Brian, and plan to continue to work with him as much as possible!
